About Us

SigNature Touch was founded in October 2022 by Kelly & Jon Alba.

Our journey began with a deep desire to eliminate artificial and unnatural skincare products from our home. Combined, we have nearly 20 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, and with that firsthand knowledge of how conventional skincare products are made and the harmful effects they can have on our skin. Having worked for one of the largest chemical plants that produce ingredients found in most mainstream skincare products, we were determined to provide cleaner, safer options for everyone.

Our quest for natural skincare solutions led us to explore the methods used by ancient civilizations. We were inspired by the innovative routines our ancestors employed across different parts of the world. These early skincare practices were not just about aesthetics; they also protected skin from insects and other harsh environmental elements.

We discovered that each region and culture had its own unique skincare methods, but one ingredient was common to all: tallow. Initially, we used tallow as our main cooking oil and never considered its potential in skincare. With a mix of apprehension and skepticism, we crafted our first batch of tallow body butter. The results were immediate and remarkable; we fell in love with how tallow made our skin feel.

Empowered by the success of our initial creation, we began experimenting with different scents and additional uses for tallow around our home. This creative exploration led to the development of tallow-based chapstick, dish soap, body soap, and even candles. Knowing that our children were using products made from nature’s bounty, free from chemical enhancements, gave us immense satisfaction.

Our passion for crafting natural tallow skincare products grew so much that we decided to share our creations with our community and the world. SigNature Touch is dedicated to providing natural skincare products free of chemical stabilizers, additives, and artificial fragrances.
